Details Of The Course
This deep, expansive five-month shamanic exploration course will help you find new strength and meaning, including new ways of connecting with your inner healer.
Prepare to find the silence, the place where the heart dwells and where your inner voice, the quiet voice, whispers truth. Then comes the realization that you are a shining jewel in the vastness of existence, and that your mission is to polish your luster until your light illuminates the path for others, as well as for yourself. That is the essence of shamanism, to be in service to others and to all of life.It is a pathfinder's way of being that always urges you to overcome ego, that challenges you to get out of the brain and into the heart, and to do so fearlessly. It is to want more than anything to help someone else, not because you seek confirmation of your healing abilities or knowledge or to stroke your ego, but because you know your mission.
Isn't it time to get in touch with that quiet voice, the one who knows who you really are? And to then get your feet back on the ground, back on Mother Earth?
The Next Course Begins when at least four people have expressed interest. Call or email me to get on the list, and when there are a minimum of four people, we will all set a date to begin.
This is an intensive course in finding yourself and of discovering approaches to joining with All That Is. It is modern spirituality backed by techniques experienced and taught for millenniums, crisscrossing vast knowledge bases of essential truths contained in most of the world’s most cherished traditions, and raising your energy and awareness during shamanic journeys and spiritual exercises. This is how you, along with others in the class, will lift the veil for a beautiful new vision and practice of expressing your heart.
What You Will Learn
We will meet in the sacred circle a total of five times, i.e. five full days, spaced apart by about a month, in order to allow you time for practice. Each class will focus on a specific topic: Introduction & Essentials, Sacred Ceremony, Spiritual Healing Techniques, Divination/Service to Others, and Bringing it All Together.Each class will also include extensive experiential training where you will learn how:
- to drum and rattle
- to make your own medicine bag
- to do your own shamanic journey
- to help yourself and others spiritually heal
- to retrieve power animals for yourself and others
- to perform soul retrieval
- to extract and negate negative energy from others
- to perform divination in a variety of ways
- and to learn many other techniques intended to help yourself and others
The circles will meet at a mutually agreed upon times, and future dates will depend on your and your classmates’ schedules, as participants have found it preferable to set the dates for getting together. Each class will meet an entire day, on a Saturday or Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at a location in Elizabethtown, KY. The final class will probably be held at either Mammoth Cave or Bernheim Forest (to be determined later). A modest lunch will be provided at each class. You will need a blanket, drum and rattle, journal and pen, and if you don't have these items, I will try to help out by finding them for you.
