It's not a religion, so poses no threat to your current belief system. But it will expand your perspective and help you to discover your inner soul and source of spiritual healing power, what is called "first medicine."
It requires work and commitment. And focus. For certain, life is a whirlwind, and sometimes we get caught up in it. We get carried away and don't have our feet on the ground. And if we live like that long enough, we can no longer find the ground. We yearn for meaning, for love, for peace, and yet have no idea where to find it. And this can lead to bad habits as we then merely seek a way to avoid feeling separated from everything.
Well, finding "it" begins with intention, which comes from the silence, the place where the heart dwells and where that inner voice, the quiet voice, whispers truth. Then comes the realization that you are a shining jewel in the vastness of existence, and that your mission is to polish your luster until your light illuminates the path for others, as well as for yourself. That is the essence of shamanism, to be in service to others and to all of life.
It is a pathfinder's way of being that always urges you to overcome ego, that challenges you to get out of the brain and into the heart, and to do so fearlessly. It is to want more than anything to help someone else, not because you seek confirmation of your healing abilities or knowledge or to stroke your ego, but because you know your mission.
Isn't it time to get in touch with that quiet voice, the one who knows who you really are? And to then get your feet back on the ground, back on Mother Earth?
Course Outline And Information
This is an intensive course in finding yourself and of discovering approaches to joining with All That Is. It is modern spirituality backed by techniques experienced and taught for millenniums, crisscrossing vast knowledge bases of essential truths contained in most of the world’s most cherished traditions, and raising your energy and awareness during shamanic journeys and spiritual exercises. This is how you, along with others in the class, will develop a beautiful new vision and practice of expressing your heart.

What You Will Learn
We will meet in the sacred circle once a month for five months, in order to allow you time for practice between classes. Impromptu get-togethers may also occur, though on no set schedule.
Each class will focus on a specific topic and related activities:
Week One: Introduction To The Four P's Plus One / Experiential: Journeying / Make And Empower Your Own Shamanic Drum
Week Two: Experiential: Techniques For Diagnosing Spiritual Illness / Sacred Ceremonies for Power Animal Retrieval
Week Three: Experiential: Spiritual Healing Techniques For Soul Retrieval / Healing At A Distance
Week Four: Experiential: Sacred Ceremonies for Extraction, Divination
Week Five: Bringing It All Together in Nature / Shamanic Initiation Ceremony For You (Performed By Shamans Who Previously Took The Course And Who Will Invite You Into The Sacred Circle)

Each class includes extensive experiential training where you will learn how:
• to make a shamanic drum and learn to play it and a rattle
• to make your own medicine bag
• to do your own shamanic journey
• to help yourself and others spiritually heal
• to retrieve power animals for yourself and others
• to perform soul retrieval
• to extract and negate negative energy from others
• to perform divination in a variety of ways
• and to learn many other techniques intended to help yourself and others
There will also be “homework” that will consist of exercises and research/reading between classes. And finally, once you have completed the course, I will always be available as often as possible to consult with you free of charge.
Schedule, Location, Etc.
We will meet in the sacred circle once a month for five months, in order to allow you time for practice between classes. The first circle will meet at a mutually agreed upon time, and future dates will depend on your and your classmates’ schedules, as participants have found it preferable to set the dates for getting together. Each class will meet an entire day, on a Saturday or Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with a lunch break).
What You Will Need To Bring
You will need a blanket, drum and rattle, journal and pen, and if you don't have these items, I will try to help out by finding them for you. A sleeping-type mask or small towel to place over your eyes is also advisable to assure total darkness while learning to do a shamanic journey.
Cost, Class Size, Contact and Registration Deadline
Total cost is $440*, payable with registration, and may be made by check or PayPal (for the latter, I will send you an invoice). Group rates are also available. Class size is limited to four participants, but unlimited if you host a group training course. A Final Thought
