Random Letters & Emails from CustomersIf you've purchased something from me, you know I like to correspond! It's essential that you know what you are getting and that it's right for you (or not, in which case I say so). But I also love to get to know people on a spiritual path, so we usually continue to write long after a purchase is made. I do so look forward to hearing from you, too. You don't have to be a customer!
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share some excerpts of emails and letters I've received, so here are a few, edited for brevity and space. (Peoples' surnames and drum names are omitted.) I picked 'em at random, and will add more as time permits. And thanks to each of you for writing!
Dear Bob and all at Thunder Valley Drums,
I was so happy to go to your Web site and see that the ___ drum was sold. TO ME! How can I be so blessed to have this drum come to me. I had to click on the Mp3 recording again to hear it. I hope I honor you and the drum when I use it. So far as I know (now) it will be used as a healing drum. The Drum and spirit guides may tell me a different story some day.
I just want you to know that this one thing, anticipation of getting this drum, elates my spirit!

Hi Bob,
The drum has arrived. It is beautiful, as I knew it would be. I put the beads and the copper on it—it felt right. I would like to use it for healing … Isn't it funny how the spirit tells us what to do with things? I really like the detail in the drum, especially the symbol on the inside, very cool.
About the necklace........perfect!! This is my style. Next week we journey for someone else, so I am going to make sure I wear the beautiful necklace. I like the beater for the drum also. I think the bells add a good sound.
I linked your site to my blog and I think to my Facebook, so hopefully you will get some more people looking at your site and blog. I can't say how many because my friends think I am a little different :)
So this is fun for me and is teaching me and is connecting me more and more to family. Thank you. Hope to stay in touch. I am watching for your online teaching and will continue to listen to podcasts. Hoping also someday to get to see you all.

Well! What a surprise when I opened the box.
(Drum name omitted) is truly a most beautiful drum. The sound for a 12" is remarkable. The drum is a work of art, Bob. You should be proud of yourself. You put a lot of time and patience into making your drums, I see. It is a precious piece of Tree.

Hi! Bob,
Over the past months I have had the opportunity to share the great beauty and healing ability of your Lightning Struck Drum (name omitted) and the Lightning Sticks.
Each person was taken with their energies one way or another. Naturally the Energy Healers being used to working with healing energies were the ones to feel the awesome abilities of these sacred tools.
It mattered not the age…from children 8 years and older to adults of all ages the Power was felt.
The Lightning Sticks truly have the ability to clear and balance the charkas. Nobody wanted to let go of them. They also have a wonderful calming effect.
The Drum just took everybody on their own Journey with ease and grace.
I do Gong Healing and that can be very intense. After a session those being healed use the Stick to bring them back Down so to speak.
Thank you Bob, for these awesome healing tools…but as I tell everybody that uses them it is not only the lightning energy infused in them…it is Your energies… that of a very special Shaman infused within the Drums and Sticks while sanding them down and creating them with such love.

WOW! I don't even know what to say! OH how precious is (drum name omitted) This is just amazing!! SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! How I will ever comprehend the beauty of it all. And the symbolism. OH and the name!!! How wonderful!!!! It seems to have a similar essence as I felt....Black Madonna/Isis. And the sound!!!! Wow!! You are really amazing! The beauty of the craftsmanship and the heart put into it! Thank you SO MUCH!! I have not even begun to unravel the amazing stand yet and I can't wait!!!! I have much more to say and will write again.... Patience I guess...though it is very hard when I am so excited!
